Food Dehydrators......
Instead of buying gold & silver today, went to the store and got some sale items. 35 # spagetti noodles .90c #, 28 Deny Moore beef stew 2.6#can 2 for $7 (02/2013 exp date) etc.....and 15 mangos, on sale .99c each. SO....Im going to dehydrate now, starting with fruit.
1) any recomendations on a dehydrator? 2) does fruit have to be at peak ripness at time of dehydrating? ( all mangos I got were hard, on purpose) 3) anyone have experiance with this, do's and dont's? was about to order this one, but figured would wait a few hours and see what coments come. http://cgi.ebay.com/Nesco-FD-60-Snac...item2eaabfe3a6 |
Re: Food Dehydrators......
There have been a number of threads on this topic, which were very helpful to me in deciding which dehydrator to buy and ways to use it. I ended up with the Excalibur, and I've been putting it to good use!
This recent thread had advice on buying a dehydrator... http://goldismoney.info/forums/showt...ght=dehydrator This is a fabulous thread with lots of information on how to dehydrate... http://goldismoney.info/forums/showt...ight=dehydrate |
